Erwin Arias is a lifestyle portrait photographer in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned a PhD in neuroscience and published several research articles in peer-reviewed journals describing important features of the mechanisms that enable communication between neurons before stepping outside the lab. Today, he works independently as a freelance photographer and writer. What sets him apart is the unique blend of technical and creative skills that infuse his work with a distinctive perspective.
