Erwin Arias is a lifestyle portrait photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri, specializing in portrait and automotive photography. He earned a Ph.D. in biomedical science and published several research articles in peer-reviewed journals describing important features of the mechanisms that enable communication between neurons before stepping outside the lab. Today, he works independently as a commercial photographer, scientific writer, and data annotator. What sets him apart is the unique blend of technical and creative skills that infuses his work with a distinctive perspective.

Real smiles and the people producing them generally come across as attractive, genuine, and trustworthy. Working as a portrait photographer in St. Louis, I’ve seen people smile the most when they feel comfortable in front of the lens. For this reason, I designed my process to be as smooth, fun, and stress-free as possible, so you can relax and enjoy your session.
